I always leave feeling anxious and angry that perhaps my confession wasn’t valid in the first place
My Friend, NOT a good idea to doubt Jesus Himself
Matt 10: 1-4
[1] And he called to him his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every infirmity. [2] The names of the twelve apostles are these:** first, Simon, who is called Peter, **and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zeb’edee, and John his brother; [3] Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; [4] Simon the Cananaean, and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.
John.20 Verses 19 to 23
[19] On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” [20] When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. [21] Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you.
As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.”
[22] And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit. [23] If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained."
AND WHY MY FRIEND DO YOU SUPPOSE JESUS INSTITUTED THE GREAT SACRAMENT?
"Jesus came and stood among them and said to them,
"Peace be with you."
"Jesus said to them again,
"Peace be with you."
Sacramental Confession is the SACRAMENT of KNOWN FORGIVENESS and therefore KNOWN PEACE:thumbsup:
God Bless you
