This is news to me. Everyone in my home also knew he had passed away. I have been enjoying this song for some months now with my sons, thinking the man was becoming famous because he uploaded a video on Youtube. 😃 I had never heard of him before up until recently. I was living in the countryside for some years and missed a lot of things. Well, may he rest in peace. +++

Yes, it’s sad that he died so young.
I love his cover of Over the Rainbow, too.
At the end of the video, they are spreading his ashes in the ocean.
 
Beautiful rendition of the song. His death was very tragic. Such a beautiful voice.
