I literally have a fish in my holy water

I have a small (very very very small) creature that is swimming in my holy water. What do I do with the creature and the holy water? I have absolutely no idea how it got there. I put the water in the fridge not aware there was a fish like I normally do to stop bacterial growth but the fish is still alive. My girlfriend flips out over bugs and will literally cry if she sees this in the holy water. Please help!

You can throw the fish out, but are you sure it is a fish? You can pour the Holy water into the earth to get rid of it. You can water a plant with it. Or you can just use the holy water. It is still holy water.
 
I have been studying it. It is about 1cm small and moves very fast. Kinda like a tadpole. I see these little strings which might be feces from the fish or any other fish that were in it. Can I boil it to kill all germs in the water? I mean you never know the “fish” could be a parasite.
 
I’d properly dispose of the holy water and get fresh holy water. I guess you could boil it, but that seems a bit of trouble unless holy water is extremely hard to acquire for you.
 
It could be a mosquito hatchling or whatever you call those things. I would just pour it out on the earth.
 
You may want to consider changing your holy water more often. 🤨
 
Dispose of the holy water on soil (ie outside on the ground). The sanitize your container. If you have a dishwasher just run the load on ‘sanatizer’ or ‘high heat’ and if not use bleach. Then fill it up with fresh, distilled water or purified water from a clean source and then call the parish office and stop by the church at a time convenient for the priest.

water with doors being opened all the time!
 
Someone needs to take the initiative to take care of that situation; ie. I would be showing up with a box of SOS pads and rubber gloves to clean out all fonts and anything there that contains holy water. I am forever finding myself dumping and replacing the water in the font at my parish and sometimes wonder if I’m the only one doing so.
 
Yuck! I would let the parish know. The last thing we need is people getting malaria from the holy water.
 
I have contacted my Parish secretary concerning this because I feel like I am getting sick. Hope this problem gets resolved.

I f it is a fish in your holy water, I would feed it fish food until it gets big enough to fry up
and eat on a Friday.
 
Bring it to the parish so they can see. They might need to see it with their own eyes and be grossed out enough to do something.

Also, is it possible that the “fish” is a reconstituted thing? Some creatures may be tiny but are mighty resilient.
