Today at Mass my sweet little Grandaughter, Emily Ann, age 2 looked up at me and said this. (She calls me that because my husband is from Chile S.A. and my daughter is very proud of her Chilean roots.) After she said that, I looked today at My husband, my three children, and my three Grandchildren (ages 5, 2 and 5 weeks) and said a special Prayer of Thanks to God for my wonderful family. I am Blessed Thank you Lord.:amen:

My 6 y/o Grandaughter Chloe’ tells me I am her #1 Nanny all the time and even when she is too big for me to hold her …“I will always be your little girl”…like you, Kay, I , too, am blessed.

What beautiful stories! Thank you for sharing them and for being the kind of grandmothers that these little ones can love and trust and find in you the presence of Jesus.

grandkids are the reward for putting up with your kids, and what goes around comes around. I try really hard not to remind my daughters of stuff they did when they tell stories on their own kids. However, when they are not around I tell stories on them to the grandkids. they love it. I remember asking my grandmother to show us the pictures of my daddy when he had hair.

That is so true! I love it when my daughter tells me, her daughter, Emily, (age 2) screams whenever she doesn’t get her own way:rolleyes: I remember back two and a half decades ago when another little girl did the same thing. Now as Grandma I can sit back and say “oh well” Grandmotherhood is the best!!!🙂 My grandson, Tim, age 5 loves the 9th grade school photo of “Mommy with silver teeth”

My husband once said that for him, perfection will be seeing me holding our first grandchild. How sweet is that?

Our oldest is getting married in a hear and a half. She says they plan to start a family right away. I could be a grandma in a few years! (though I’m really quite young for such a thing!) —KCT

My granddaughter Mary ate a mint from her Grandpa in the car. She took great delight in whispering this to me, and really liked it when I played it up by asking to smell her breath.

I love seeing how my husband interacts with the grandkids. He is deterermined to take the fourteen-month old into WalMart to let her pick out her own baby doll. 🙂
