Got to shake his hand and thank him for his talks because his talks helped me come back to the Catholic Church. He gave a wonderful talk on the sacraments today at Christ the King in Tampa, FL. Isn’t he great?

That is great that you got to meet him! I met him in 2004 at a Catholic Family Conference in Anaheim, CA, where I got a signed copy of his book “Lord, Have Mercy; The Healing Power of Confession.”

I live in a highly secular, and if not secular, protestant place so I really adore his writings because they go toe to toe with many of the tired arguments that I hear time again.
I wish he’d write books for children. My childhood was marred by 7th Day Adventists and Bob Jones junkies telling me I was going to hell. While I will be more cautious with my children, I would really love to equip them with something they could read themselves.

Depends on the kid. I heard him mention how he met an 11 year old who told him he loved Lambs Supper so much he read it twice. He wasn’t sure whether or not to take that as a complement.
