He’s right…The Bible does say all that.

It’s all one big contradiction.

Some people say the explanation in John is the correct one…Others say Mark is.

As far as the time frame is concerned - 9 vs noon- some bibles have Mark saying third hour and John the sixth hour. The difference can be accounted for by Mark using Jewish time frame and John using Roman.
