Ever since I heard about the peanut butter thing and my son being sick my entire day has gone to heck in a handbasket!

I have a ton of work and household chores to do!

Come CAF friends…I need a kick in the pants to get going! 😛

if you stayed up for 2 hrs cleaning house instead of falling into bed in a stupor, would the house still be clean 24 hours from now? I doubt it. Housework is like air, it’s just there, and it is not going anywhere, so don’t chase it.

Um, PuzzleAnnie, not exactly what I had in mind for a motivational speech!

You are a HOOT! :rotfl:

Maybe you need this little guy to tell you to stop being so naughty…

:tsktsk: “Turn off that computer LynnieLew and get to work!”

Then again he is so darn annoying that he’s just asking to be disobeyed! 😛

Speaking of Mary Poppins…one of her favourite saying is “There’s time, there’s time.” There’s always another time for house work…like tomorrow! 🙂

You are all nasty-pants!

I need help NOT procrastinating, not the other way around!!!

You’re all bad influences on me.

Lyn - are the dishes caught up? Does everyone have enough clean clothes to wear? Is there at the very least eggs and toast for dinner? Can you move through your house without tripping on anything except maybe the dog or cat who is probably following you around today like you are fragile? If the answer to these questions is “yes” or even “sort of” then give yourself a break and take Puzzle’s advice “if you stayed up for 2 hrs cleaning house instead of falling into bed in a stupor, would the house still be clean 24 hours from now? I doubt it. Housework is like air, it’s just there, and it is not going anywhere, so don’t chase it.”

Allow yourself the day to get rested up so you can continue to do those diaper changes and making sure your guy is hydrated and you don’t end up getting sick on top of it all!

my rule used to be, if the baby is stuck to the kitchen floor and cannot move, it’s time to mop.

The only time I ever get any cleaning done is when I have homework I don’t want to do. I honestly don’t know what I’ll do after I graduate :o.

Cleaning the house while the children are growing,
Is like shoveling snow, while it is still snowing.

I think I read that quote, or something like it, on CAF awhile back! How true!

Good luck~
