If you’re an altar server, would it be possible to ask the priest before or after Mass? That would eliminate the step of asking your parents to take you.
I’ve thought of that but that would have to be if I was altar serving alone (rarely happens)

Because my family would make my leave because they want to go
And my siblings would probably obstruct it too.

Since it is Easter Season, let us look at
Mary Magdalene. weeping at the Empty
Tomb: "she looked into the sepulcher and
saw two angels who asked her: “WHY
ARE YOU CRYING?”, she gave HER
wrong view of things… then she turned
around and saw Jesus, altho she didn’t
recognize Him b/c of her tears. and He
asked her the SAME question: “WHY
ARE YOU CRYING?”, she gave Him
the same wrong view of things…Until
He called her name and SHE realized
the TRUTH, Jesus is ALIVE and well,
and so is SHE!!

We can look at Life’s challenges the
same way, we can weep and mourn and
sigh when we are faced with loss or
frustrations or seeming hopelessness
but WE DON’T seem to see Jesus
in our lives, however, this Easter, TRY
TO ENVISION a Resurrected Christ,
who can help us SEE that we need not
despair, but in prayer, ask HIM to right
what is wrongly viewed by us and help
us SEE that Jesus is here, alive and
well and that ALL IS WELL!!

Thanky you

I really am trying to increase trust and hope

This helps more than you know

We Christians have to be brave.
We have enemies who want to keep us away from the church.
Pray to St. Michael for courage.

You could maybe mention to the priest when you are an altar server that you have a hard time getting to confession. Especially if it has been a long time.
You would have a hard time not receiving the Eucharist when you are serving, so you are kind of stuck. Maybe your priest could run interference with your family?

Or maybe tell the family, the priest says it’s important to go to confession if I’m to continue to be an altar server.
Because it is.
God bless.
