Hi there!

I am unsure if this is the right place to put this as I am new here, but I will try anyway.
There is a hymn called “Adoro Te Devote” and it is a beautiful hymn.
When I was younger, during church the hymn would be sung, but with different lyrics.
One of the verses went something like,
“Jesus, Lord and Savior, hear me as I pray. Jesus, son of Mary, stay with me today.
Jesus, keep me faithful, loving, good and true. Jesus help me always trust and follow you.”

I’ve been looking everywhere in hopes of finding the author of those exact words, but I always come up with nothing.

Any help is appreciated.
If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thank you,
James.

Unfortunately, no.
I saw that one as well, but it doesn’t have the lyrics I’m looking for.

Thank you though!
James.

At AtonementOnline: A Child's Prayer it has:

"… Grant that I may please you, now and ev’ry day.

Text: Fr. Christopher G. Phillips, 1994.
Music: Adoro devote, Plainchant, French church melody, 1697.

This is sung each day by the students of The Atonement Academy, as a Post-Communion Hymn at Mass." It has that it was posted by Fr. Christopher George Phillips on 21 December 2014.

Google, Google, Google! My favorite phrase! All that (you think)is hidden will be revealed…including the sheet music and lyrics!
