I need help finding

[st_lucy]

Hello everyone,

I am looking for quotes from saints on the Holy Eucharist for children. I do have the quotes from the ECF but I was hoping something from the beloved saints like St Therese, St. Lucy, St Elizabeth Ann Seton, etc.

Thank you,

"Do you realize that Jesus is there in the tabernacle expressly for you - for you alone? He burns with the desire to come into your heart…don’t listen to the demon, laugh at him, and go without fear to receive the Jesus of peace and love…

“Receive Communion often, very often…there you have the sole remedy, if you want to be cured. Jesus has not put this attraction in your heart for nothing…”

“The guest of our soul knows our misery; He comes to find an empty tent within us - that is all He asks.”

- St. Therese of Lisieux

“When you look at the Crucifix, you understand how much Jesus loved you then. When you look at the Sacred Host you understand how much Jesus loves you now,”

- Mother Teresa of Calcutta

“How sweet, the presence of Jesus to the longing, harassed soul! It is instant peace, and balm to every wound.”

- St. Elizabeth Seton, about Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament

“You heard me, only Friend whom I love.
To ravish my heart, you became man.
You shed your blood, what a supreme mystery!..
And you still live for me on the Altar.
If I cannot see the brilliance of your Face
Or hear your sweet voice,
O my God, I can live by your grace,
I can rest on your Sacred Heart!”

by St. Therese of Lisieux, The Little Flower

I found these on www.therealpresence.org

I hope this helps.
