If this is in the wrong forum please move it to one that will get more exposure…I’m the RCIA for Children facilitator at my parish and I was wanting to come up with a project for the kids that will last for the months leading up to Easter. I would like to be able to put it up on the bulletin board we have in our room. I don’t want to put up too much personal info so we can keep with VIRTUS rules, but I would like it to be something that shows their spiritual progress. Any ideas would be VERY helpful!!! Thanks! God bless.

if you are doing Breaking open the Word with them, several resources for that process suggest making symbols for a banner, which could also be used for a bulletin board, they can make their own small ones, or work together on larger ones. Celebrating the Gospel is one such resource. Just be sure the project does not take so long to complete that you spend more time on that than the actual teaching.

Right now I only have about 1-1.5 hours with them, so the longer projects won’t come around for at least a few more kids in…but yeah, I definitely don’t want it to interfere with class time going over the readings.
