I have often thought that the best witness to give to your Faith is to to live a life that shows others how your faith makes you radiantly happy. šŸ™‚

Donā€™t let others make you insecure. Be yourself, be inspired by the Holy Spirit. Live your Faith. Maybe somebody will even change their minds because of you. šŸ˜‰

Maybe Iā€™ll see you there :)ā€¦ I live about 40 miles north of Knoxville, but I try to occasionally go to other parishes in the diocese. Iā€™m hoping that by the end of the year I will have visited all of them.

I will not be deterred!

That is the attitude that will keep you on the right path. If they bring you down and get you derailed, then hang out with like minded folks like yourself. I train Dressage horses, well did. Now I am helping my Father in his business. I notice that in the horse business there are allot of athiestic minded people, I just ignore that and try to find the good about them, and leave it at that and when I get to a believer then I truly enjoy the time I have with like minded people. Plus I see God in the eyes of those glorious Warmbloods. Seeing God in those horses I can deal with the athiests. Scoob.
 
Hey, I have a lot of ā€œfriendsā€ that remind me of yours.

I think that even though in the beginning they might be worried for you, real friends will respect your decision. Chances are, they have nothing but good intentions. However, you are intelligent enough to make your own choices, and they should not question that.

You donā€™t necessarily have to stop being friends with them, as long as they donā€™t try to ā€œsabotageā€ your relationship with God. Remember to be faithful to your beliefs and make sure that they respect that. Who knows, maybe theyā€™ll follow your example!

Also, making a couple of friends that share your beliefs could make things easier for you in case you feel alone sometimes šŸ™‚
