I can’t tell the priest that I caused my husband to finish outside of me. I will be at confession in 2 hours. Give me the right words that won’t cause me to die of embarrassment. I can’t say I m_ _sturbated my husband. I just can’t. It might even be face to face and I literally would die to say that word. Help!

Say, “I participated in an intimate act with my husband that was not open to life.” The priest can ask for clarity if he needs it, but he probably won’t.

Thank you. That seems just right. I will have to write it down. I hope he doesn’t ask any questions.

The priest did not ask any questions of me. I was so relieved! :blushing:

I would be confessing directly to Jesus through Our Lady Mary Mother of Jesus’ Divine Most Loving Wisdom and Intercession, then through your Parish Priest “alternative physical relations” not in line with Jesus’ teachings. The Priest will get the gist of it and set you Penance.

Love and best wishes

We Catholics DO confess to Jesus, the priest is in persona Christi because he has been ordained to perform those sacraments as Jesus gave the Apostles those rights while he was on earth. So I don’t know why you even came up with your first statement.

I was given absolution and received the Eucharist later that night.
