I need your prayers for purity this week

I would like to ask everyone for special prayers today for purity. This is going to be very tense week for me. At some point this week I am going to learn if I have been hired for a new job, a position that I have been working toward and hoping (and praying) for for several years.

In the past, whenever I have been up for a new job or a promotion, I have usually acted out during that last period of suspense that comes right before learning whether I have landed the job. In fact, I think it has always happened.

As someone who has struggled with the temptation to turn to pornography and masturbation, especially during times of stress, I ask all of you to pray for me that I can remain in a state of grace this week, and be prepared for however job thing turns out.

I am praying that the Lord will supply all your spiritual and material needs.

I pray that you would have the insight to be focused on holiness at all times, as much as possible, and to constantly trust in God and not in anything that leads you into sin. Holiness is not a season, we should try to make it our 24-hour waking and sleeping way of life. I would pray also that you learn to distinguish a temptation when it hits you, and even at that tense moment, to turn towards God.
