I want to strap myself on one of those stretcher wheels they used in the middle ages:

(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

And crank it backwards enough to be painful and yet wonderful.
  • That sounds amazing
  • What?!
  • Is there room for two?
  • Double cheeseburger and sweet potato fries
  • Fresh egg nog!
  • Fresh egg nog with a dash of whiskey
  • Fresh egg nog with several dashes of whiskey
  • Just whiskey, thank you.
  • I’m just stopping by
  • I prefer a hot bath and muscle rub

Try just hanging from a bar, or a slant board that elevates your feet. Actually this just reminded me I love slant boards so much and haven’t been on one in ages.

Hey!
I came here to help with you pulling a muscle and instead got my leg pulled!

That could be misrepresentation, I shall now check if it’s a sin.

No need, Yes it is.

I would recommend swimming, or perhaps just floating in a warm bath. That will take some of the load off your back. This is not medical advice.

Doh. It seems you have pulled a muscle in your back after all.

Ok, when that happens to me, often at this time of the year with cold and damp, I see a doctor, in his surgery I mean. The last time it happened I was given something which I knew wouldn’t work. Sat down and read and then moved to get something twenty minutes later and wow, completely fine. It wasn’t a trivial pain either.

Warm baths are good though.

A glass of wine in a hot bath, and then drive over to get one of those reflexology massages immediately after. Works every time!

Maybe have a very small person gently drive over me with a golf cart, back and forth, to work out all those kinks.

Or pound my back with the smooth end of a meat tenderizer.

I like to fold myself over in the opposite direction when my back isn’t right.
