Really smart people take advantage of all the resources their libraries have to offer. 🙂

I have a 2016 iPhone SE. I Love it!!! However, I do feel I’m less productive with it. I’m more inclined to browse CAF than go to the gym 😅 Research is so much easier now though!

Go to the library. You might be surprised what you find. Several times I have discovered books or music that I wasn’t looking for, wasn’t even aware existed, which impacted my life tremendously.

The most recent time, it was a technical book that relates to some research I am doing in my spare time. I was literally walking past, on my way to another section of the library, and a book on the shelf caught my eye. This book for me was like gaining sight after groping in the dark. It allowed my research to leap forward. The improbability of my finding this book in this way was kind of spooky, like a miracle, like the hand of God leading me in a very specific, targeted way.

Smartphones and computers are good, but not that good.

My smartphone is a necessary evil. I’d rather not have a mobile phone at all. 📵

I have a smartphone, not an iPhone, because I absolutely hate Apple’s business practices, nor would I ever own one. I have a laptop that I can do tons of research on, and I have a bunch of books at home. But, I do sometimes still go to the library. That being said, it might be time for a new laptop. Anyway, I don’t like reading books on tablets, I don’t like reading books on computers, I don’t like reading books on smartphones, I like reading books. Like books with writing on paper. That’s not to say I have anything against people who do, it’s just a preference, and to be honest with you, I like going to the library for other reasons too, partially because of some of the women that work there but I’m not going into any more detail than that, I am single. Also, since it’s close to a Catholic church, I can go to confession and walk to the library. Come to think of it, even my Parish church is across the street from the library, although to be fair, the library is closed on Sunday anyway so I rarely ever go to that one.

I enjoy the library, too.

The library also offers many free activities for adults, children, and families, too.

Our library offers various Book Clubs, Game Nights, Crafts, Coloring Activities for Adults and Kids, Lecture Series, Story Hours for Children, and so much more.

I love the library!

There are other things that you can do there, besides reading, like the activities that I mentioned. ❤️

A smartphone is cute. But saying that we don’t need libraries because there are smartphones is like saying that we don’t need grocery stores (🌍), restaurants (🌎), or farms (🌏) because you have McDonald’s (🍔).
