I really need someone to talk to

They don’t talk to me either. Maybe they should make an attempt? I don’t HAVE to make an attempt. Many people are estranged from their family. It’s not morally wrong. It’s unfortunate. But I’m not obligated to do anything about it right now.

My counselor told me to try and visit my friends for Christmas. He agreed with me that there are many good reasons not to see my mom on Christmas.

I love You very much.

Please hold me in Your Arms, forgive me my sins, and make me the way You want me to be. Please go easy on the dismemberment.

I don’t know where you are but it’s raining here, a wet Sunday in the UK.
Never mind I have the tree lights to cheer the room up.
Have you any decorations up? If you have a little spare money you might buy a couple to make the place look a bit better.

Hi Fets, I know life can be lonely. It has been for me too. Continue going to therapy, even if it’s only one hour a week. I just started therapy about 4 months ago, with a practicing Catholic, and it’s really, really helped me. Wish I had done it when I was younger. It hasn’t helped my situation per se, but it’s helped me to understand “me” better.

In general, I’ve found most ppl do not like intense conversations about deep subjects, so that could be one issue.

I went once to a spiritual director once, and his advice was that our suffering (loneliness), was once Christ’s, so God permits us to experience His suffering. Not exactly an answer I wanted, but I’ve decided to embrace it, and ask God to gain from it what I must, for the glory of His name.

Keep at it, embrace what God is sending your way in this life, and continue with a good therapist. God bless you.
 
Well when i feel a need to talk to somebody, i use different sites like meetville or courchsurfing for example and it really works. You don’t need to be in close contact with that person, you don’t know them in face, so you may tell something you would never tell to your friend
