I seek Information about a just bought crucifix

Good afternoon from The Netherlands.

I have bought a crucifix today and I would like to receive information about this crucifix.
The seller told me it was from the south of France, yet when I search for that nothing.

Maybe someone on this forum could help me.

Is there a website where we could look at a picture of the type of crucifix you bought?
 
What information are you looking for?

There are companies all over the word that make crosses/crucifixes. I’m not sure anyone is going to be able to give you any kind of specific information.

Thank you, @(name removed by moderator)! It’s certainly an unusually elaborate crucifix. However, as other posters have said, there’s no obvious way you can tell where it was made just by looking at it.
