On Saturday my Grandma died. We were very close. I was there when she died. And am having a hard time coping.
Last night my baby cousin, 5 months old who is staying with us b/c of the funeral, was taken to the Emergency room. And now my 6 year old nephew sliced open his hand, badly, and has to go to the Emergency Room. And finally, one of my friends, my sister’s best friends, was just told he has 5 more lesions on her spine (she is 32 years old).

Everything is happening at once. And I just feel like I am going to go crazy. Plus, today is my hubby’s birthday and I want it to be a special day for him.

Please pray for us.

Lynnie,
I am sorry for your loss! We will remember to keep your grandma in our prayers. I know how hard it can be, I lost my grandma right before Christmas. As far as the cousin and nephew, you could just look at it as a reminder of life among you. I know it’s hard but those little darlings need you right now too. It probably doesn’t seem like it will get any better, but it will… at least all the drama will end soon. I don’t know how far all the relatives are from you, but at least you get to see them.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my Grandma in November so I completly understand your pain. It seems like once one bad thing happens everything bad happens. Things will get better!! You just need to take it one day at a time. I still have to remember to take things one day at a time. I will keep you in my prayers!!

And Hon, remember that everything seems (or does) to happen all at once! I pretend that I am in a spiritual battle bootcamp when I am going through this stuff and I want to please my commander-in-chief!

I’m so sorry to read what your family is going through, Lynnie! I’ll offer my Rosary today for you and yours. Our Blessed Mother loves to take care of her children, especially when they’re hurting.

DH and I have had a rough few years, too, since we married and began our family, but we stuck close and prayed a lot, and now we are having our “resurrection.” My prayer is that your family will soon have your resurrection! May God bless you!

My prayers for you and your family. I know how difficult it can be to lose someone like a Grandmother or Grandfather that we are close to…I am so glad you were there with her when she died. You just hang in there, honey…you are loved.
