I think I am getting sicker

Hi everyone. I was diagnosed with Bronchitis the other day. Well, I think I am getting sicker. I am not really coughing very much at all. I am on an antibiotic called Augmentin for 10 days. I am not sure what the milligrams is but it is either 875 mg or 125mg. It has two different numbers on the label. Also, they are about the size of horse pills. I started taking my antibiotics yesterday morning or possibly this morning I think. Please pray that the antibiotics would work and that I would be cured of this bronchitis and sinus infection soon. I think I also have a sinus infection because I am having a lot of pressure around my eyes and nose. I am in a lot of pain right now and it sucks. Please pray for me.
 
ya I here ya, it’s no fun. In high school senior year I did a whole study on it, but I hope you feel better, praying for you.
 
Hi Hollie,

Try taking Vitamin C, 2000 iuc’s in am and 1,000 in pm, on going. It builds up your resistance. But once an infection is in there, antibiotics do the job. I will keep you in prayer.

Praying for you. Please be careful taking vitC with prescription drugs, especially in such high doses. You could concentrate instead on eating nutrient-dense foods, primarily vegetables, so that you can get your vitC in small but steady quantities with the other nutrients it assists, the way your body was designed to handle it all.

Hey, thanks for your prayers. And thanks for the advice too.

Anyway, I am feeling quite a bit worse even though I took a very powerful prescription pain reliever earlier that I have for arthritis pain. 😦
 
Well everyone, I just tried to take a shower and it only made me feel that much worse. I thought it’d make me feel better but it didn’t. Instead, I had a hard time breathing and stuff. And now I’m cold. I was already having chills but now I have to have the heater on with my robe on in the middle of Summer! 😦
 
Hey everyone. I tried for 50 minutes to get to sleep and couldn’t. I am feeling even worse now. I am feeling worse by the minute. I don’t know what to do. I can’t take a full deep breath, my chest hurts, my back hurts, my neck hurts, my head and face hurts, my whole body hurts. 😦
 
Hey everyone. Thanks for the prayers. I just woke up and I am feeling so bad. I quite literally feel like I am dying. 😦

I’m sorry you are feeling so badly. It does take time for the antibiotics and your body to fight this so unfortunately patience is what you will need. But of course, you are in my prayers:)

Loving God, help the antibiotics to do their job and work to help Holly start feeling better. Give her some relief from pain We love you Lord for Your tender care of all of us. Amen.

You need to call your doctor if you are still getting worse. Whatever bug you’ve got might need a different antibiotic. I am still praying for you. Stiff neck is definitely something to take seriously and TELL your doctor about!

Thanks Milkbar. I can’t tell my doctor about it until Monday though cause they are not in on the weekends and they do not have an on call number. That said, I honestly think the stiff neck was due to the position in which I slept.
 
Oh man, I am feeling so bad today. I am feeling by far worse than I have been so far already. I think I may make a trip to the emergency room here in a little while. 😦
 
Hey everyone. I ended up not going to the emergency room and I do feel better now. I still feel pretty bad though. Please continue to pray for me.
 
Hey everyone. I felt okay yesterday although I slept most of the day. Now that I am up tonight, I am feeling worse. I am achy all over and have some slight pressure in my face from the sinusitis. I am also having a little bit of difficulty breathing but the main thing that is bothering me is the body aches. I have still been taking my antibiotics and will continue taking them until Saturday evening which is when my last dose is. Please pray that I would heal quickly.
