I think i've been a bit unfair

so those who have read my threads about problems with mom, I guess I need to clarify a bit

while everything I described previously is true, I think it’s mainly been due to my dad’s affair 12 years ago, there are a lot things concerning it that she just can’t seem to get over. also health problems, she was diagnosed with a thyroid tumor a year ago but that turned out to be fine, now she is having irregular heartbeats so she’s panicking about that too.

though she has had unreasonable and irrational behaviour, I guess it is a result of all that. I’ve tried to talk her in to getting counselling but she doesn’t think anything is wrong.

she does blame me though for causing too much stress which she thinks is why she’s having the heart issues now. apparently it’s because I don’t listen enough or don’t obey enough and she has to repeat things sometimes or I forget to do my chores. sigh… sometime si just get busy with other things and forget to do what she asked, it’s not like I’m purposefully ignoring her or refusing to listen but that’s what she thinks

just say a prayer for my family please, everything is very broken

Lord Jesus, please help angel1, her mother, and family to find peace. Holy Trinity, please accept their sufferings as penance for their previous sins and help them find the light of Your Face.

Will pray, you can count on that.
People go through stormy behaviours when under a lot of stress. I suffered similarly when my mum went through a mild breast cancer. People see the light eventually. Just pray and be kind, you can endure this. You are brave enough to ask for counsel, that means you have a clear head.
And don’t forget to blow steam, either with friends, a therapist, a priest or here with us. God Bless.
