This of course is very complex theology but from the light of Sacred Scripture I’m able to comprehend a little but I also believe our full understanding will not be in this world but the next. I believe from what I understand from Sacred Scripture conforms with the Apostolic Cree from the council of Nicea, which stated that Jesus was Homoousios (of the same essence as the Father)
God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God,
begotten, not made; of the same essence as the Father.
Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation

Isaiah 9:6
John 1:1-4,14
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

- It was the Word of the Father which created the universe ex-nihlo, “Let there be Light” and there was! So the Word was eternal and pre-existent with the Father before time ever came into being.
Positionally, however, I believe the Bible tells us that the Son serves the Father and is our mediator between God and man. Just as your words and my words reveal our hearts so is this true to an infinite degree of the Son, the Word of the Father, who reveals the heart of the Father because He is of the same essence. As Jesus said to the Apostle Phillip in John 14:9-11, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.”
These verses from Saint Paul’s letter to the Church at Corinth also reveal the positional nature of the Godhead:
1 Cor.15:25-28
For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. :26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. :27 For “He has put all things under His feet.” But when He says “all things are put under Him,” it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. :28 Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.
