I wasn't sure where to post this..Q about prayer answer

As the title says,I wasn’t particularly sure where to post this topic…I just completed a Novena to St. Theresa the Little Flower. It involved my recent problems with my ovaries and Uterus. I posted earlier in a diff. post but will re cap here–waiting for my annulment to be done, fiance comes from a family of adoptions, he is the only current blood line from his grandparents we have 1 biological child from before we came back to the church…ok, end re cap…so I have medical problems concerning my female organs and the DR feels the need to possibly remove them by next year. She also said that if I were to wait to get preg. my chance of conceiving drastically falls every month tht goes by due to the cont. growths. So I did a novena to ask if it would displease Jesus for me to have ovulation ther. ( not IVF ) just a pill to help me ovulate to send me 1 single white rose. I asked if it did not displease Jesus to send me 1 single pink rose. I know that might sound crazy but it is omehting I have done my whole life and believe it or not I always get roses from her. …so anyways yesterdy a women handed me a child’s scapular to for my son to wear, and when I went to pay for it I suddenly felt a strong urge to pick up the prayer card next to the register, it was a St Philomena card. I was not too familiar with St Philomena so I looked her up when I got home. At the same time I took out the scapular there ws a brochur with it and there was 8 white roses on it, it just so happnes St Philomena is the patron saints of babies and infants! So I received 8 white roses and a St philomena novena. how would you take this?? I specifiaclly asked for only 1 pinkor 1 white, but instead received 8. I know inmy heart this truly is an answer from St Theresa but am not sure what it could mean. any ideas?

You are assuming your annulment will go through, and thus, are basing decisions on that. In the meantime, you are to be living as brother and sister on the assumption that the former marriage(s) are still valid (until proven otherwise). To engage in marital relations now would be presumptive, and Christ (nor St. Therese) would give you signs to do something that the Church still has not declared legitimate. I sense your urgency, but it is often in times like these that the Lord tests our character. I urge you to consult a priest about this as opposed to going on some perceived “sign from above” - especially when it contradicts what the Church asks of you during this time.

We have to remember that many of the moral and ethical problems center around the misguided notion that we have a right to children (or a right not to have children). It is the Lord who opens and closes the womb, and we must trust in His provision.

If your annulment goes through, then you can re-engage in marital relations in good conscience. The Lord may grant you a miracle baby despite the doctor’s predictions.
 
I too would suggest playing by the rules. If a baby is in your future he/she will come.

sorry I failed to mention it has already passed Tribunal 1, just waiting for the final decree to come in mail. =)
 
Wait for the decree and get married… 👍

If the “sign” is meant to be, then the ovulation therapy would be your next step… of course, consult your doctor about the next steps to take regarding that. There’s no reason why you can’t start the therapy ahead of time, but do wait until you are married in the church before trying to conceive. 😉
