I wish it wasnt an 1.5 hour drive to a TLM

Nearest Latin Mass for me is an hour away. A lone island of sanity in a sea of confusion and heretical depravity of the most perverse forms.
 
Cheer up, I’m at least 20 hours away from a TLM. You’re lucky.

That said, Fr. doesn’t have a cell phone and lucky us, we’ve got no Sisters to disrupt our worship.:rolleyes:

Speak to your pastor and or the Bishopric. The more people who make known their preference for the EF in a given community, the more likely it will be taht one will be provided.

As for the length of drive, I guess you must make the determination as to what is more important to you. Staying where you are? Seeking another OF parish that is more, “traditional”, or driving the hour and a half. 🤷

^unfortunately the other closest OF parishes are at least 40 minutes away.

Mine is an hour and fifteen minute drive. Last Sunday I almost didn’t go, but after I pushed myself to get ready fast I just made it, and was it worth it! I could survive on just one TLM a year, that’s how present God’s love was there. Like He’s glad we actually are aware of and love Him, and reciprocates it. I imagine He holds back in sadness when 99% of the congregation are being gravely irreverent.

Do it, it’s worth it!!
 
Where do you live? An hour and a half drive doesn’t sound bad to me. But I live in Central Texas… I could drive 6-9 hours in a given direction and not see another state!
 
My “local” FSSP parish is 120 miles away. Thats a 2 hour and 15 minute drive IF the traffic is tolerable.

I’d think 1 1/2 hours was a snap.
