Good day my fellow Catholics, this is my first time on this forum and I am glad to be here. I am the proud new owner of a mytouch 3g t-mobile cell phone and went to the android market and found an app for ibreviary which I downloaded. I have researched this app and found it was made by an Italian priest in conjunction with an IT friend he has and I think it is wonderful to have.
I know that the website liturgyhours.org/ is an approved website to get liturgical Divine Office prayers from and the Liturgy of the Hours is the exact same (even down to the asteriks) on the ibreviary app I downloaded which makes me guess they have gotten it from the same place as liturgyhours.org/.
I know that some other websites, including universalis.com are not approved as liturgically sound and also have bad translations. Does anyone else have the ibreviary app on their phone and/or do you know if it is in correlation with liturgyhours.org/? Thank you so much for your time, have a great day. God Bless.

I may have just answered my own question. 🙂 I see on google that there are many stories about how the ibreviary app is approved by the Vatican. Also, when you go to liturgyhours.org/ you are redirected to a site called ebreviary.com. I wonder if ebreviary.com and the ibreviary app are connected in any way. Any other (name removed by moderator)ut is appriciated, thanks again. 😃

I do not nelieve eBreviary is connected with www.liturgyhours.org***

Just stay away from Cantcha’s Imissal.
There are so many mispelled words in it, it is scary.
makes me feel like I am praying in the ghetto.

“and bless this bodey of lofe for all.”

Yes I will stay away from that one, it has 5 stars but that doesn’t always mean it is liturgically sound and spelled correctly. I enjoy ibreviary a lot, has been good so far. There is another app called MassReadings but I believe they use the Anglican LOTH. Thanks.
