Last night during the power outage, someone broke in and one of the things taken was my husband’s wallet - all credit cards, debit cards, etc. We have called all the places we need to and shut off all the cards. We are filling out affidavits for the credit card companied and are in the process of filing a police report.

These jokers have racked up about $1,000 in charges in about 8 hours - to include a $200.00 cell phone.

Please pray that we get the $ back in time for our mortgage.

Please pray we (or the police) have the resources to track these people through the cell phone GPS.

And pray for their misguided souls. May they get justice tempered with mercy.

And pray the next time they try this kind of stint, they’re caught red-handed.

Pray that we can trust folks again. I really do feel violated.

I think of St. Peregrine, who stoned a priest, and later repented to become a saint. Or the boys of Boys Town that Father Flannigan took in…some were reprobates and others were victims.

I just don’t feel like being a victim of the reprobates!

I am praying for you, that your reputation or credit will not be harmed by their actions, and that you are able to find it in your hearts to forgive them. I will also pray that those who did this to you will realize the severity of their actions and turn their lives around so that they live as followers of Christ, and that God will have mercy on them. I hope everything turns out all right.
 
I’m so sorry to hear this- what a huge hassle. I’m keeping you in prayer!

Please God all will be restored to you both.
God please give the thieves repentance and desire for restitution.

As one who actually goes to Boys Town for Sunday mass quite often, will pray for you and your situation. Will pray that you and yours can trust again and receive justice.

good idea to file a police report and report to your homeowners insurance, also file fraud alert with the major credit bureaus, you can find contacts online (filing with one will alert all 3, I believe) or your mortgage co. can give you the contact. will definitely pray that their stupidity in using the cell phone leads to their swift apprehension so you and others are protected.
