Idea for pregnant moms

Yesterday I went to Wal*Mart with DH wearing a graphic prolife shirt. It’s the one that says “LIFE IS WORTH HOLDING ONTO.” in red at the top and “PROLIFE” at the bottom. In the middle there’s the picture of the preborn baby who was being operated on and curled his or her hand around the surgeon’s finger. I wondered why I was getting strange looks until I remembered what I was wearing.

If all the prolife pregnant women could wear prolife T-shirts or sweatshirts, depending on the weather (they don’t have to be as graphic as mine) at least once per month, we could outnumber those wearing the “I Had An Abortion” shirts! Will you join me?

The only Pro-life T-shirt that I have is long sleeved…it’s hot in the south right now…well, being seven months pregnant…I have thought seriously about buying a “I didn’t have an abortion” T-shirt… it’s the one that has HAD crossed out with DIDN"T HAVE written above it.

Just search “I didn’t have an abortion t shirt” in search engine and check out the Christian t-shirts web-site…what do yout think? Should we get one?

It’s long sleeved, pink and says:

BIRTHCONTROL IS FOR SISSIES!

Not the most polite, but it curbs the constant “Haven’t-you heard-of-the-pill?-Don’t-you-know-what-causes-that?-Are-they-all-yours?-Oh-my-G!-you’re-crazy!” theme of comments from strangers…

I think he said he got it at Motherhood of all places??

Maybe I should try this shirt…I too am tired of the “comments”… and I’m only pregnant with #3…which I received every one of the comments when I found out that I was pregnant…my youngest was only 4 months when I got pregnant. I guess over time you become use to them and become hardened, because right now…those comments still hurt, especially when they come from family and friends.

I’m sorry that your family and friends have treated you like that. I hope you find the strength to pray for them, as they obviously need it.

If I can ever get pregnant again I want to make a t-shirt myself. It’s a lot cheaper just to go out and buy the t-shirt transfers and print up a design from your computer.

I want one that says “It’s a baby” hanging right over my big belly. Though right now we are not having much luck getting pregnant… we just don’t have a lot of time to TRY I think. :o
