Hi there! 😃

I’m currently thinking about getting involved in forming a youth group at my church and I would like to ask my fellow Catholics on any ideas that will get my age group, (teens and young adults), interested in the faith.

Most of the participants are cradle Catholics, like I am, however most are lackluster in their spirituality, (some even deny the existence of God). I was thinking about first clearing up some misconceptions on the Church and then giving them some valid scientific viewpoints on the existence of God. However, I’m still a bit worried that this won’t successfully connect my age group.

So, I’m asking for some help, please! (not sure if this is the right forum)

Thanks! 👍

You should consider utilizing the new Decision Point videos from Dynamic Catholic: dynamiccatholic.com/confirmation/preview/

Create interests that can be combined with faith,
Like bush walking , or some form of outdoor activity in which you have a group that can sit around on rocks or logs and have open discussions ,
You need to find an interesting activity, simply because if it’s boring you lose them,
If you make fun then you keep there attention…
