Hi Everyone,

I have two beautiful boys 3 and 5 year old. I’m looking for ways to educate them in the Catholic faith. We pray together, we read the children’s bible together. Any other ideas how I can teach them in a fun way?

The Baltimore Catechism No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3, have all been exemplary in teaching my kids all about the Catholic faith. In addition, using any of Seton’s religion workbooks are extremely thorough for each age group.

You can also incorporate any of the many saints’ books to make our faith come alive! My children loved Glory Stories CDs and religious coloring books.

Peace.

All of the above.👍

We are converts, and I have found the blog Catholic Icing to be extremely helpful to me. My child is a bit older so I’ve had to adapt many of her ideas, but your children are the perfect age for most of her ideas. catholicicing.com/

Shower of Roses is another wonderful blog, and she has lots of ideas for feast day celebrations too. showerofroses.blogspot.com/ and her sister site Catholic Cuisine catholiccuisine.blogspot.com/

PPs have had some really good advice. I would only add - lead by example. Let them see you living your faith.
