If Christ is the answer, what is the question?

The question is: How do I come to the Father and find everlasting life?

And you get loved ones to ask the question by exposing them to the Gospel through you living your faith, not to mention taking them to church!

The question: Who is your life empty and meaningless without?

How you get them to ask? Live your life as the BEST Christian witness you possibly could - when good things come your way, give all Glory to God (so that they hear you) - pray pray pray that the Holy Spirit would touch their hearts.

And how do you get loved ones to begin asking the question?
The question might be phrased as:

Is there more to life than just being born and then struggling to survive until finally you die?

Jerry Seinfeld (an american comedian) once said “the question, I presume, is ‘What do you say when you accidentally hit your thumb with a hammer?’” (-:

Hmm, though more seriously, I would say “Who is the way, the truth and the life?” (or is it the light? I can never remember). Um, I don’t know how you can get people to ask that question though if they’re not already interested in discovering the truth and etc. Often significant life experiences can shake someone out of their complacency, but of course these sort of things happen at random. A simple challenge to them, though, may help them to start thinking about questions of truth - to ask things like “what happens after you die?” “how did you get here?” “are you really happy with the way things are?”

The question might be phrased as:

Is there more to life than just being born and then struggling to survive until finally you die?
I think that’s got to be at least in the back of the mind for most people, but so many spend their energy trying to keep themselves entertained so that they don’t have to deal with those transcendent questions. I guess sometimes it does take a tragic event.
