I heard this in a protestant song recently, and it really touched my heart. But I wonder how much of this statement is true in Catholic theology…especially the “religionist” reference.
“If Christ was a philosopher we could have debated Him. If He was a warrior we could have fought against Him. If He was a religionist we could have written Him off as an eccentric. But Christ was love. What do we do with that?”
