If Holy Communion was offered both via intinction and via separate host/cup, which would you choose?

I wonder what the US dioceses did with the intinction sets I saw used here when I was a kid and a teen. I didn’t see anyone giving the Precious Blood in a separate unattached cup until I was in high school.

I’ve seen a number for sale on eBay over the years. I’ve bought a few myself when the price was so low I just couldn’t turn away.

Leave it alone, please…other than being good fodder for a category on Catholic practices on Jeopardy, the argument serves no purpose…some turn “norm” to “abuse”, and “abuse” becomes “illicit” and “illicit” becomes “invalid”.

Rejoice in the source and summit of our faith instead of bickering with each other, or questioning the authority of one Bishop or the other. Receiving the most precious blood and body of our Lord should be done with an open heart rather than a closed mind.
