If i lose hope?

Pray for Mercy! Don’t stop there…Keep praying and praying…

You will find a peace in praying if your prayers are in earnest. It is hard when “dryness” overtakes our lives. This is where we pray the hardest and the most. Even when you don’t want to or you feel it won’t help!

I’ll pray for you too!

I find it somewhat difficult sometimes to give advise but I’ve been there - and worse - many times. Please don’t loose hope. I know you have Faith or you wouldn’t be writing. With Faith comes Light and with Light comes Hope! It’s impossible not to have it! Maybe all the pressures of the world or your life make you feel like you don’t BUT it’s there.

Try to read more Scripture and yes! pray constantly. the great Battle has already been won. I will pray for you.
 
I suggest you pray a rosary, then tell Jesus you are going to order the demon or evil spirit of despair or whatever you think the name of it is thats destroying your hope. Then address the demon and in the authority of the name of Jesus and power of his blood, command it to depart from you.

When you pray that rosary, really meditate on the mysteries you pick.

This probably sounds extreme, but we are in a spiritual war.
 
I agree with PhilipEdmund. This is indeed spiritual war. We all need to focus deeply on our mysteries and even if we get distracted - as is the evil one’s plan - keep going back. Mother is always there to hear and help us. We promise you.

When you lose hope in the things of this world, when you lose hope in your own ability to change your course, when you see that the promises of this life are transient and fleeting, then you simply must pray that God might take control of all things. Pray “Thy will be done” when you feel your hope dissipating in the wind. It’s not easy; this life isn’t easy, it’s not bluebirds and sweetcakes by any means, but no one with any true authority said it would be so – for does not Christ have the supreme authority? and did he not lay down his life for the sheep?
