If Martyrs go straight to heaven why do they cry in Revalation

During a Bible Study of Revelation, the question came up that if all Martyrs go straight to heaven, where God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, why would they be crying?
 
Hi,

Once the are in heaven, they will be extremely happy. But martyrs suffer much before they die. The wiping away of their tears is really the wiping away of all that they suffered.
