If Non-Christians Can Go to Heaven, Why Introduce the Faith to Others?

I’ve been reading David Bentley Hart lately, and he remarks at how amazingly frivolous the New Atheism is, with respect to atheism throughout history. They seem utterly uninterested in the biggest questions that all of us face as human beings, and completely unwilling to gain any substantial insight into that thing to which they object so vehemently. He tells of an agnostic philosopher acquaintance of his who said of Richard Dawkins’ argument against God: “It might very well be the single worst argument made for or against any proposition in the history of human thought.”

The more I encounter the new atheists, the more I hear of their arguments, and if you know Church history, you quickly realize that their arguments are all arguments that you heard before, because the Saints of the Church already answered them.

Worse, their arguments when you really examine them are really intellectually superficial. They’ve usually committed some obvious logical fallacy or self-contradiction that can easily be pointed to.
