Persons like me in Saudi Arabia are unable to attend Sunday Mass.(No Religious Rights in Saudi Arabia) What will happen to us after death?

In Christ,
Selvaraj

In my opnion if you pray, stick with the catholic teachings,be a good man,and ask for gods forgivness about not going to mass, then he will understand everything!

You don’t need to ask forgiveness for not going to Mass if one is not at all available. You have commited no offense at all.

You are in an extraordinary circumstance, so you will be judged differently than one whom Mass is readily available to. God knows the intentions of your heart and the circumstances you are in.

You can always make frequent spiritual communions and pray that Mass be made available.

Prayerfully yours in Christ and wishing your spiritual health,
Usque.

There is no sin when you cannot do the impossible.

Out of curiosity, what is the legal status of Christianity in SA?

Religious practicing other than Islam is not allowed and also having a Bible is illegal.

Economics and oil makes strange alliances. SA is one of the most intollerant countries in terms of religious persecutions and human rights abuses, yet we see our president walking hand in hand with the Saudi leader.

Not very accomodating hosts considering how many Christians are there as visitors, diplomats, and support staff. You would think they would allow foreigners to worship as the choose.

Pray as you usually would do on a Sunday and keep the sabbath as best you can. God knows what’s in your heart. Christ’s Peace.

I just wanted to tell you that I will be praying for you. I can’t imagine how I would live if I could not freely practice my faith. So many Catholics I know here in the US (where they can go to Mass every day if they want to) don’t even seem to understand how important it is to go once a week. You have so many more obstacles than anyone I know has as far as your ability to go to Mass, and you are more concerned about missing Mass than many Catholics I know. Another thing you could do is offer up the pain of not being able to freely practice your faith. You will definitely be in my prayers.

You may be able to receive communion at a Byzantine or Orthodox Church. Ask your permission from your bishop and the OC/BC bishop. It is allowable under canon law.

you have no obligation to attend Mass when you are in a situation where it is impossible, so you do your best to pray and read scripture daily and unite your prayers with the Catholics around the world in all the Masses of the day. After your death you are judged on your sins, and for you in your present situation there is no sin involved.

That depend’s on where your walk with Jesus is Because he said where two or more are gathered there so shall I be,so if your walk with him is right (in your heart that is) you will be in his kingdom and he will say well done my good and faithful servant.

In Christ love, Your Badcat
