If only God omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent, how do Saints hear a million requests for intercession at one time?

hey seek, thats a difficult concept. present with christ. the unsaved dead might have a different sleep than the saved dead. then theres the possibility that saved in christ might be treated differently than old test folks that are saved. but there is a resurection of the saved. so they arent up and about, i guess. good topic. ill have to ask someone more knowlegable than myself on that topic.

God does not change the way He saves from the OT to the NT; it has always been by grace, unmerited favor. A saint of the OT is no different then a saint in the NT; there all saints.**

It is very Catholic of you to say this. 👍

You are wrong again Seeking! The Catholic Church does teach that only God is omnipresent. However, we also know that He allows anyone He wishes to partake of His divine nature. For example, He allowed Samuel to appear to Saul, and He allowed Moses and Elijah to appear to Jesus at the Transfiguration. He allowed both the Apostles Paul and John to be “caught up” into heaven and to see visions. Paul said he was not even allowed to speak about some of the things he saw. This does not make him Divine. Just a partaker of the Divine privilege.
How do those examples make them omnipresent or omniscience? Try not to get to elaborate on the answer to a very simple question.

I believe you are confused. In the OT a Catholic MIGHT say salvation was part of circumcision and in the NT a Catholic would say water baptism would help save you. Whereas the bible would say it is all of grace; no ritual or tradition needed for salvation. Please try to get your side of the fence correct; you don’t look as Catholic with your Bible face on. You know I’m just having fun; not personal.

please go back and read again the first line in the post to which I am responding. You are so quick to find fault, you are making up things to argue about that do not, in fact, exist.🤷

Really? If that is the case, it may be because you don’t understand what Catholics believe. What you have stated here is Catholic.

God has always saved people by grace, through faith. In the NT, baptism is the manner whereby that saving grace is applied to the believer.
Whereas the bible would say it is all of grace; no ritual or tradition needed for salvation.
It is plainly evident by reading the Bible that ritual and tradition are very prevalent. None of it changes the fact that God saves us by grace.

If God were so opposed to ritual and tradition, why do you suppose He commanded so much of it?

It seems that you have a prejudice that most Catholics don’t know their bible very well. Sadly, I think you are right.

Is Tradition important to be saved?

First one need to clarify what Traidition the Catholic Church meant. It is the Deposit of Faith handed down to us from the Apostles time.

People sometimes want to compound Tradition with tradition.

Is the Bible important for salvation?

Thanks to Tradition for it brought us what we now have to instruct and build on our Faith.

And Tradition is a result of the Grace of God in building the Faith of the Church. Scripture says that God’s Wisdom is revealed through the Church.

Those who neglect Tradition have truly err. The Bible one is holding now is a result of Tradition.

I would call you a hybrid Catholic, part Protestant and all Catholic. You seem to have come from a Protestant background, at least it appears that way from your writing. Nothing personal, just an observation.

Don’t have time to read all the four pages of posts re. this subject but an easy answer is that there’s no time in Heaven.
We think of the saints in Heaven as having earthly constraints because that’s what we are used to.They are not bound by time & space like we are.

My sojourn amongst my separated brethren was a very spiritually enriching experience. 👍

I don’t know that I am “part Protestant” anymore, though. I am not aware of any rebellion that remains against Catholicity about which I may be in protest.

Nonsense. Just what do you think “deposit of faith” means?
