**I have read that PP accounts for about 20% of the abortions in America, and that they are the leader by far…**but who accounts for the remaining 80%. I know that there are for profit hospitals like Health Centers of America (HCA) that allow abortions on demand…and for that matter there are at least 5 publicly traded hospitals that allow abortions on demand. My advice to readers…try to boycott them, in your mutual fund and investment portfolio and for medical procedures.

Abortuaries associated with the National Abortion Federation would be the next highest single abortion chain. After that, it’s the numerous “independent” abortuaries and hospitals or private doctors.

PP only has abortuaries in certain cities, not in all. So, in the places PP has their abortuaries, they have a very high percentage of the abortion business. For example, in Houston, there are over 17 abortion clinics but PP does 40% of the surgical abortions in that area leaving 60% done by the other 16 combined.

So, yes, PP is the big dog and the other guys are small potatos. But there are plenty of the little guys willing to fill the gap where PP isn’t located.

Yes, there’s big money where abortion is concerned, it’s a lucrative business.

I was under the impression that Planned Parenthood did the majority of abortions. They are the number one provider in the country.

Many gynecologists do abortions in their offices, as a “minor” procedure. There are also the “Day Surgery” centers (yes, the same places where you may have gotten an arthroscopy or other procedure done, in the same operating room) where abortions are performed by gynecologists. You only have to look at where PP does their killings to realize that it doesn’t take the facilities of a large hospital to do abortions.
