If the whole world was of one religion would this be good or bad?

One religion for the whole world would be very bad. The idea reminds me of communism, which failed miserabely in meeting needs.

By our nature, we require competition to force us and our organizations to improve and do better.

One religion = no competition = bad

Strange? Seems Christ wanted there to be one church. But, who listens to him?

If you will re-read what I said – I said “Christ.” But, I have no doubts that before it’s all over there will be only one. Evolution, you know.

He only has One Church, however, He must allow us to freely subject ourselves to living in accordance.

While the world probably can’t be all of one religion, unless there is a globaly imposed theocracy similar to what was attempted in both Islam and Christianity early on, it may likely grow to have one general understanding of what constitutes spirituality and relationship with God. That relationship will be what evolves from and past religion.

Exactly, On earth we can’t survive and grow spiritually with a single religion, our nature will corrupt it

In heaven there is no need for ‘religion’, we will be in his presence and have perfect knowledge.

Well, practically speaking you had your wish from about 500 AD through 1,500 AD in most of europe. A single religion led to the papal states, corruption, and the Reformation.

I’d say having a single religion didn’t work out so well.

I still haven’t made myself clear, apparently. The “it” I was refering to is Heaven, not a one-religion world. And yes, I do agree with you that a one religion world is against our Nature.
