If the world's "governments" worked according to "common knowledge," the world would have self-destructed long ago!

Instead, the world has progressed at an astonishing rate the past 200 years, and it will continue to thrive regardless of all its “negativity.”

I don’t think so.

Venality is a remarkable check on those who govern: if they get blown up, they can’t enjoy what was stolen. Ergo, they have a serious reason to not let that happen.

Apart from which, the “world self destructing” has only been possible for three generations; an eye blink in the human timeline.

So we have not been duped into believing that the mass media, including school curriculum, paints an accurate picture of reality for the common person? In reality, we are the “bad guys” who must be under control. Our values, attitudes, and beliefs are all being continually manipulated. Trump, like all presidents before him, is nothing more than a puppet who does exactly what the Pentagon orders him to do. In a nutshell, we live in a make-believe that we erroneously perceive as reality.

Our mind is like a chain on a dog: We are free to allow our mind to roam in any direction we please until the slack in the chain is taken up.

Wait, how long has the Pentagon been the guys in power? I thought it was the media elites and the big businesses; you know, the guys with the goods. :hey_bud: You know, those guys.

Why is there no top hat and monocle smiley?

So everybody is “duped” but you?
Take it for whatever you may, but I do feel that we are being duped, and I’m not the only one.

If you believe we can know the workings of government using the “common knowledge” we were brought up to believe, so be it. Being sarcastic and narrow-minded reveals ignorance.

I feel the same way, there are many people that are duped and have no idea and probably would not care either way, but there are some who recognize it.

I have a sneaky feeling the small amount of ‘truth’ we are able to figure out, in reality, its probably the tip of the iceberg. The mainstream media has been a great tool to spread their lies and agendas, it has successfully ‘conditioned’ many many people over the years.
