If you aren't completely clear in Confession, are your sins forgiven?

If you aren’t very detailed in describing your sins (either mortal or venial) are they still absolved if you confessed what basically your sins were?

Yes, if you mention the basic sins, then they are forgiven—just as long as one doesn’t deliberately with-hold any mortal sins. If the priest wants more information, he can ask for it.
