No, I didn’t. What part of South America?

Laid back sounds nice. Was it nice and sunny too?

I always tease that I may travel abroad and not come back for a really, really long time.
Seton Home publishers were part of a gathering of families in Columbia and we also stayed in Costa Rica. Love the food, love the people, love the fact that you can ride in a public city bus where on the driver’s visor you see in big bold letters, DIOS ME GUIA (God is my guide). We plan to see Peru and Chile.

If money wasn’t consideration, I would want to go on a nationwide train trip! My husband and I have dreamed about doing this someday. It would be awesome to do it with our children someday, but we’d probably have to be retired before we could afford it. I’d really like to take my kids to Williamsburg and to the Grand Canyon. I don’t need a whole year for that though. I’m fortunate that I’m off during the summer and I can spend the time with my kids. If only I had the money to take them places! Why is it you can never have time and money at the same time? 🤷

If my youngest kids were older and I had the ability to homeschool, I’d definitely pack up and live and travel all over the various continents. Take a boat ride down the Danube, stand underneath a gentle Irish rain, kiss the ground of the colosseum where the martyrs died, attend a papal mass, see the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio, buy a rug in Marrakech, pray a rosary in procession in Lourdes…
This, plus visit every pueblo in New Mexico and show our girls the farm in Ireland. 👍
