If you don't challenge questionable teachings of the Pope outside fallibility

Are you a true Catholic?

I don’t consider it outside the realms of possibility, when not speaking ex cathedra, that the Holy Father strays into error, if not heresy.*

If so, he ought to be challenged? It is surely our duty to do so?

*Disclaimer: That isn’t to say the Pope himself is heretical and thereby ceases to be Pope.
 
What “questionable teachings” are you referring to?

All of us “speak error” at times in our daily conversations. I don’t believe that Francis has ever taught error as a matter of the Church’s teaching authority. The difference between this pope and others is that he talks to reporters often and is remarkably free in his comments.
