Thank you very much for the recommendations! I for 1 will check them out right away.

My two favorite books are Catholic and Christian by Alan Schreck and “Imitation of Christ” by Thomas A Kempis (though use caution with the latter, as there are protestant versions of this timeless Catholic classic).

Also, I am currently reading two books about the Catholic community, both here in the U.S. and abroad. The books are fascinating non-fiction, reference-type books:
