How would you live? Would you live each year like it was your last, while still saying it was a single year in a multi year journey? Any thoughts?

Nah, you’d find other Curmudgeons to sip coffee and gripe with. 🙂

How many people really plan to die? I think be default most people think they will will live forever.

I’ve not thought about that, but living forever just seems weird to me.

Well, we do plan to live forever: with God in Heaven. So, we must live every day as if it were our last, but rather than satisfying cravings or engaging in other recklessness, we must live out the gospel.

I’m certainly hoping to live forever in heaven with Jesus, Mary, all my saint friends and all my loved ones.
I wouldn’t want to live forever on earth. One lifetime is tough enough.

We are eternal, we are living our eternal life now.

Living forever in this life? Assuming I don’t experience the effects of old age and remain in a “youthful condition” (eg With the energy, passion and physical capabilities of someone aged 20) then it could be fun for awhile, but I assume it would get boring as time stretches.

Plus, sooner or later, all my loved ones would pass on, and while I could make new bonds, it won’t be the same. Either way, there would come a day whereby I’d be sick of living for so long, so while I do definitely wish for a long life, I don’t want to live forever in this life.
