If you purposely fail to mention a sin in Confession, are your other sins forgiven?

If you purposely omit a mortal sin in confession but mention others will the other sins be forgiven.
And if Jesus knows all our weaknesses why do we need to renounce them in confession?

In a word, no!. In fact, the whole confession becomes a mortal sin in itself. To use the sacrament in such a disrespectful and ungrateful way is a sin of sacrilege.
