A few months ago I’ve been a subscriber to netflix for 1 month period. I was shocked by the movie and tv show’s cover images. Never sub. to it again.

I’m sorry, I read the description for “Cuties” at that link you posted and I just couldn’t stop laughing. 🤣 🤣 🤣
Amy, 11, becomes fascinated with a twerking dance crew…
The premise is just so ridiculous; it’s like that SNL skit, and they really are just making every possible show, regardless of whether anyone would ever want to watch it.

Well it’s about a French Muslim girl so there’ll be plenty of cultural pressure to kill it.
Maybe there’ll be a fatwa declared on people in charge.

Apparently you’ve missed the many years of not only TV shows like Toddlers and Tiaras, but also kids beauty pagents and dance team events in your area

I certainly have as I watch very little TV and as an adult heterosexual male I can say that such fare would hold no appeal to me whatsoever .

tubi. TV

Fox owns them. Free, works better streaming for me.

Netflix still has their series on the 4 Gospels, Mark etc

I am finding specific Catholic programming.on tubi

And to be fair, you might get a few shows that might not meet one’s approval but it’s more like you would see on mainstream TV.

“Scarlet and Black”, this use to be at the Catholic VHS rental. Solanus Casey documentary, Fatima, Lourdes and so on

If I didn’t say it, just for me, tubi streams better, basically, it seems better all around except for the odd new movie one might want to see… it’s a smorgasbord of movies, documentaries, etc. and at least, for me, I haven’t seen anything unacceptable. I guess, they have horror movies and that. I haven’t looked into those.

I removed links.

it, but it also some some objectionable, borderline pornographic movies. … (see full quote please)
Oh, I have not seen any of those at all, one must search for them. I guess, one can actually say that about youtube too.

But thanks for the warning. I will take that into account. I’m watching a few dramas, things like that. I’m not really looking to go into every crevice of these websites. I have never gotten such an advertisement or movie posted.

Yes, there was one R-type movie I saw. I am not sure how I would categorize that. Gratuitous so-on.

Oh yeah. Youtube is terrible, even with the family filter on…

If you don’t go searching for it on Tubi you’ll probably be alright, I just wouldn’t let any kids on it.
