Hello all,

Merry Christmas to each and every one of you! I was blessed to receive the beautiful Ignatius Catholic Study Bible New Testament as a Christmas present and I could not be happier about it! This is a beautiful volume that I wish you all would check out!

I would like to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May God bless you all immeasurably as we go into this new year with the memory of His birth as an infant in Bethlehem, intended to die for our sins.

So this Christmas, I was blessed to receive a very, very special Bible. Back in my Protestant days, I would always ask for the latest study Bible that was produced and my bookshelves are riddled with them. This year, I think I found the best Catholic Study Bible around.

I sure like mine but when is the Old Testament going to be out?
 
I have one too. It is invaluable. A great aid. Maybe 2015 at the earliest for the Old Testament version is what I have read.
 
I rec’d a big Gift card for Christmas form my sister, and THAT is what I’m going to spend it on!

Merry Christmas! And, what a wonderful gift! I have one also and I love it. I gave this gift to my children and inscribed inside “God wants your whole heart - May His Word be written on your heart”

“You shall draw water with joy out of the Savior’s fountains.” ~Isaiah 12:3. (the water is God’s grace and the fountains are the 7 Sacraments that Jesus instituted.)

Can’t wait for the release of the Old Testament!

I didn’t know how to copy the picture so I posted the link. I also bought one for myself that I keep in my handbag. My original pocket Bible was in need of replacing - its quite old and I love the RSV translation better plus the font is bigger.

BTW, love your blog - I made it a favorite.

Absolutely love my study bible. Everything about it, the notes, text size, paper thickness, layout. I got the leather bound version. Highly recommend!
