Is there any difference between the two?

RSV- CE:

Ignatius Holy Bible:

I have copies of each and, as far as the text goes, they are virtually identical. The first is published by Sceptor, and, aesthetically, is much nicer, with gilded pages, bonded leather cover, thumb-tab book index and a ribbon bookmark. The Ignatius Bible is very nice, too (the hardcover also has a marker ribbon) but decidedly more ulitaritan. I’d recommend either.

Thanks, I already have the RSV:CE Bible (along with the Douay-Rheims) and was just wondering if they changed anything for the Ignatius Holy Bible. So it’s mostly aesthetical differences?

BTW, here’s a proper link to the RSV:CE Bible:

The Ignatius Bible is the RSV-CE, it is published by Ingatius press though. I have the Ignatius Bible I know that in the New Testament they have St. Gabriel’s salutation “Hail, full of grace.” Instead of “Hail, highly favored one.” And they translate “brethren of the Lord” instead of “brothers of the Lord.”

I don’t know if the RSV-CE has these changes in the NT or not.

I have a RSV-CE as the main Bible I use. If you want to know please provide the chapter and verse of these things and I will look them up.

Yes I could find them with out you providing the chapter and verse, but I am feeling lazy right now and do not want ot put in the work on it.

The Ignatius BIble IS the RSV-CE. The typesetting is exactly the same as that of the Scepter editions. The changes mentioned are to the RSV-CE translation itself, so both editions have them.
