I read this line from Ignatius of Antioch to the Ephesians the other day and it’s helped me sort through the therapeutic vs jurdical view of salvation:

“Let us either flee from his future wrath, or else embrace His present grace; no matter which, so long as were found in Jesus Christ with our true life before us.”(11) *
